I am a cook, food enthusiast, fermentation fan, planter of plants, lover of travel, proponent of photography, and magnet to writing. I was born in New Zealand and moved to Northern California as a young girl. Visits to New Zealand keep me connected, and my fascination with the place, its landscape, history and culinary geography stoke my appreciation for the interesting country. Currently, Santa Rosa, California is my home, where I work as a server in a restaurant, and buzz eagerly around the Bay Area seeking epiphanies via food, drink, and the bountiful terrain that inspires meaningful memories.
