Umami and Fat
Umami and Fat is a website about food, travelling, and writing. Food is a vast and diverse topic that encompasses the latter two subjects, and includes cooking, making beverages, fermentation, recipes, techniques, and on an on. Through travel, there is much to be learned about food, the people who make it, and its rich history, wherever one happens to be at the time. The places that inspire me to write about food most are Northern California, my current home, and New Zealand, where I was born and continue to visit.
